Download audio drivers for Intel desktop boards with Realtek chipsets

Intel has released to the public audio drivers for its desktop boards, equipped with Realtek ALC chipsets and introducing Windows 8 support. 

As we approach the arrival of Windows 8 RTM, supposedly at the end of July, most manufacturers are racing to develop drivers for their products that support the newest Microsoft operating system.

On Intel’s Download Center page, the drivers are available in only one package, for both 32-bit and 64-bit architecture, and are ready for the following desktop boards:

- Intel Desktop Board DB75EN - Intel Desktop Board DH77DF - Intel Desktop Board DH77EB - Intel Desktop Board DH77KC - Intel Desktop Board DQ77KB - Intel Desktop Board DQ77MK - Intel Desktop Board DZ77BH-55K - Intel Desktop Board DZ77GA-70K - Intel Desktop Board DZ77RE-75K - Intel Desktop Board DZ77SL-50K Realtek 2.69 audio drivers, announced on June 8, are the ones dominating this package, with Windows 8 WHQL certification and ALC283 chipset support.

Users who own Intel desktop boards with Realtek ALC audio chipset are invited to download and install the latest drivers.
