LemonQuest have announced recently the release of the mobile-phone version of the classic game SCX. LemonQuest has reached an agreement with Spanish company Tecnitoys which means that users can now enjoy the most realistic and entertaining mobile-phone version of the game ever made.

SCX offers players all the excitement of competing over a series of spectacular races designed to test driver skill and the ability to find the perfect balance between braking and acceleration, to the hilt. Another feature is the mode enabling up to 6 players to compete against each other, putting into practice outrageous overtaking maneuvers and altering race strategy and vehicle configuration. Elements that can be changed include brake tension or fuel load, as well as choosing the pit-stop strategy that gives the best chance of victory. All of which comes together to provide unbeatable playability and the most compelling action imaginable thanks to a simple and effective control system specially designed for mobile handsets.

SCX for mobile phones also stands out for its isometric graphics driver which provides an even greater sense of realism, making the game-playing experience nigh-on identical to the original.

The new mobile game will be made available by most of the world's leading mobile phone operators, and will be sold under the name Scalextric in Spain, Russia and Mexico, and SCX elsewhere.
