RealPlayer Cloud has just launched in the United States and RealNetworks is already offering up its new iOS app as a free download for iPhone and iPad customers looking to have a convenient place for all their videos.

RealPlayer Cloud is the first integrated video player and cloud service available on the market, and allows people to seamlessly move, watch, save, and share their videos across all the devices they own.

Starting today, RealPlayer Cloud apps are available for iOS, Android, desktop computers, and Roku boxes. The free iPhone & iPad app is linked below.

RealNetworks says with the new RealPlayer Cloud app users can: “Move their videos across their devices, to watch them on any device they choose; stream or download their videos locally for convenient on-the-go access; watch their videos on their TV; share their long videos directly from their phone, PC or tablet to whatever device their friends happen to have, with no app download required by their friends.”

SurePlay technology enables seamless auto-formatting, which automatically tailors videos to fit the screen sizes of all supported devices, and even manages things like bandwidth and storage.

The RealPlayer Cloud service is available free of charge with 2GB of storage in the US and Canada. Additional storage plans are available starting at $4.99 (€3.69) per month.
