Dreamworks' Real Steel movie starring Hugh Jackman has been ported on mobile platforms in the form of a fighting game, which proved to be extremely popular among Android and iOS users.

According to developer Reliance Games, Real Steel has more than 6 million downloads across all platforms, which is one of the reasons that creators of the game have decided to bring it to Windows Phone operating system.

Those unfamiliar with the franchise should know that Real Steel is an “underworld fighting game set in the near-future, where 2,000 pound robots fight in a no-holds barred battles to the death.”

Keep in mind though that for optimal performance, developers recommend users to close other apps and reboot their device after downloading and starting their first boxing bout.

You can now download Real Steel for Windows Phone for $0.99 / €0.99 via Windows Phone Store. The game is only compatible with devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
