Real Housewife of NYC Jill Zarin Says Changed Face Is Down to ‘Liquid Facelift’

A few days ago, Jill Zarin, who’s seen on “Real Housewives of New York,” debuted an entirely different face, prompting speculation of the extensive plastic surgery she may have had. Far from it, she says in a new interview with Wendy Williams.

The reality star agreed to do the Wendy Williams interview precisely because she wanted to put rumors to rest and have her side of the story out there, she says, as the video below will confirm.

She hasn’t had any plastic surgery done to her face recently, Zarin explains. The change in appearance is down to what is known as a “liquid facelift,” which is different from an actual lift in that it’s done with fillers and Botox.

Basically, she’s been plumped with fillers and Botox until her face was pulled and tight, which explains why she looks different from how she looked, say, at the end of last year.

It’s all the work of famous cosmetic dermatologist Patricia Wexler, Zarin says, who has been working on her for years.

“[She] injects Restalyne on the side [of the face] so it gives you a pull. You don’t fill in the smile lines, because that’s too inaccurate… People used to use silicone, don’t use that stuff,” Zarin tells Wendy.

“Then she does Botox down here [gestures to neck]… tightens the neck. It’s all about pulling and tightening,” the reality star explains.

“Here I’ve been doing [between the eyebrows] for 10 years. My forehead and here,” she adds. Zarin has always been open about getting Botox, so there would be no use lying now.

Another explanation for why her face is strikingly different is that she’s no longer wearing bangs – and it’s a known fact that a tight ponytail takes years off the face because it pulls the skin, making wrinkles appear smoother.

“But this is really the difference… since I’m 5 years old I’ve always had bangs,” Zarin says, explaining how she used to cry when her mother sat her down to cut her bangs.

Check out Jill Zarin’s explanation for why so face is so different in the video below.
