Song not included on “Blackout” pops up online

About two years ago, back in the day when Heidi Montag had not yet undergone extensive plastic surgery and she was consequently not that able to command international media attention, she put out a song she claimed was a duet with Britney Spears. The original demo, which was initially meant to be included on her “Blackout” album, has leaked online, as BritneyFans can confirm.

Word on the web has it that “Dramatic” was supposed to be included on Britney’s “Blackout” but was considered somewhat too slow-paced and was left out at the last moment. Her former manager, Sam Lufti, reportedly stole it and it somehow ended in Montag’s hands, who simply recorded part of the vocals over Britney’s – and then on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show to boast about the duet.

The original version is now back and, while many seem to agree it wouldn’t have gone well with “Blackout,” most fans insist it’s still a good song and Britney should consider releasing it as a separate single, just for the sake of it. “Check out the newest Britney Spears song called Dramatic that just got leaked. Reportedly this song belongs to a Blackout demo stolen by her former manager Sam Lufti. Click below to listen and download the hq mp3 song. PS: Our website has nothing to do with this leak, the person who upload it, or the service where it is hosted,” the Spears fansite writes.

Below are the two singles, just to be able to compare between the “duet” with Montag and what is believed to be the original Britney Spears version. The latter also includes one instance of offensive language, so some discretion is advised. On the upside, though the consensus seems to be “Dramatic” is better off not included on “Blackout,” many are the voices who also say that it’s comparatively superior to “3,” the single she released on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of her first music album.

Of course, this could also be a question of taste. Listen to “Dramatic” and see for yourselves which one is which. Enjoy.
