Reading - Leeds Festival in England Presents Pearl Jam

The Reading - Leeds Festival in England will take place this year, 25 -27 of August. Many big names have already confirmed their participation and the tickets have been put on sale on the 3rd of April.

Besides Placebo, The Muse or Franz Ferdinand, we'll have the chance of seeing Pearl Jam playing live at Reading on the first day of festival, and at Leeds on the last one. In between these days, The Muse will have their gig on the 26th.
For Pearl Jam fans, the concert held at the festival is a really important event, since this will be their first live performance after the bloody day of June 30th. At that time, nine people were killed during their show at Roskilde Festival, Denmark. So the excitement of them appearing on stage again might be a little shadowed by panic.

Before the festival though, they will also have a show in London, at Astoria Stadium, on April 20th. This will be the first public appearance in England after six years of absence, and it may be seen as a warm-up for the festival in June. If things go right in London, spirits will probably calm down as to what concerns the atmosphere at Reading and Leeds.
