14 DAY TRIAL // The new Dragon Age novel, called Asunder, has received a launch date of December 20 and Tor Books has made an excerpt from it available for all those interested through this Amazon link.
The action in Asunder will take place in Orlais, in a Spire which houses the core of the Templar bureaucracy and the major power players of the organization, where a young mage called Rhys has to prove that he is innocent after a mystical murder.
The excerpt is built around Cole, another mage, and he offers details on how the mages and the Templars interact and, most importantly, how the power inside the organizations are shifting.
Mages and their place in the Dragon Age world was one of the major themes of the second game in the series and dedicated fans will surely get an extra strata of lore from reading Asunder.
David Gaider, the man who seems to be in charge of keeping the Dragon Age lore together, wrote the book.
