The music streaming business is finally becoming global, as the few companies that have been able to offer on-demand unlimited streaming are now expanding to countries beyond the US. Granted, in some cases this means the big European markets, but it's a start.
Rdio has now become available in the UK and France, though the company is keeping quiet about it. Rdio has been available in Germany for a few months as well. Rdio £4.99, $8.08 for the basic web-only service and £9.99, $16.17 for access to mobile and other devices.
Still, it's got some catching up to do to Spotify which is available in quite a few European markets and in the US.
Deezer has a very solid grasp on the European market, it boasts that it's available in every country on the old continent. But it's got no plans of crossing the Atlantic to launch in the US any time soon.
