Before the Oscar frenzy descended on Hollywood and then slowly took over the world, a quieter, smaller but just as important ceremony took place at the Ricardo Montalban Theater in Los Angeles: The Golden Raspberry Awards 2015. The Razzies, for short.

While the Academy Awards celebrate excellence, the Razzies do the exact opposite: voting members and the public decide the worst offenders in cinema for the previous year, from Worst Actor and Worst Actress, to Worst Movie and Worst Director.

The Razzies also include a special category for worst excuse for a sequel or remake, and as of this year, a category that is actually not about something negative, celebrating good comebacks after a while of delivering stinkers.

This year’s winners losers included Cameron Diaz, who was named Worst Actress of 2014. However, it was “Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas” and Cameron himself who actually got the most “accolades,” 4 in total: Worst Actor, Worst Picture, Worst Screenplay and Worst Screen Combo.

The widely derided faith-based film is now officially the lowest rated and generally the worst movie of the previous year. In addition to winning 4 Razzies, it’s also the worst reviewed release on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes.

As per usual, Michael Bay also won something - because really, what would the Razzies be without him?

The full list of Razzie recipients is below. Of course, none of them were on hand to collect the cheap, gold-sprayed award.
