Tron fans all over the world can now rejoice since Razer has released yet another offering in its long line of gaming themed peripherals, the Tron Gaming Mouse now becoming available for purchase from the company's online store for a pretty hefty $99.99 price tag.

As it's usually the case with Razer for this much money you will get one of the best gaming mice available right now, powered by a 5600dpi 3.5G laser sensor that should provide you with all the precision needed during those grueling gaming sessions.

However, since we are dealing with a licensed gaming peripheral, users also get a bunch of pretty light and sounds straight from the movie, as Razer likes to point out.

How well will these go with your prolonged gaming sessions is beyond me, but I am guessing that sooner or later you will turn them off as they are bound to get repetitive (and annoying) in a short while.

Featuring an ambidextrous design, the Tron Gaming Mouse also comes with seven hyperesponse buttons, ultrapolling and a braided seven foot USB cable that should be enough for any gamer out there.

Apart from being sold on its own, Razer will also make available a Tron mouse and mat combo, the solid mat coming with a special design that creates a glowing trail behind the mouse as it travels on its surface.

Although no information are available about when will this kit become available or for how much it will retail, this is listed on Razer's Tron peripherals mini-site so it should start selling before December 17, the date set for the Tron Legacy launch.

But if you can't wait that longer, or if you find no use for the mat, the Tron Gaming Mouse can be purchased right now, Razer listing this as a “same day shipping” item.
