Razer is most likely among the most recognizable brands in the industry for high-performance gaming peripherals, as the company made a name for itself with its uniquely-named gaming products. The Carlsbad, California-based company has just announced that it has expanded its portfolio with the introduction of the new Razer Abyssus, a gaming mouse that enables high-precision gaming in a simplified design. According to the company, the new mouse has been featured with its latest technologies, but with a design that makes it among the most affordable gaming mice on the market.

“Less is more,” said Robert 'Razerguy' Krakoff, president, Razer. “We’ve taken our ambidextrous three-button mouse design and loaded it with our industry-leading technology without the added cost of too many bells and whistles. Our goal with the Razer Abyssus is to give competitive gamers access to gaming grade hardware without breaking the bank.”

Razer's new Abyssus gaming mouse has been featured with a 3500dpi 3.5G infrared sensor and comes with a 1000Hz Ultrapolling and 1ms response time. The mouse also comes with non-slip buttons, Razer's built-in Hyperesponse technology, featuring 3 independently programmable buttons, Ultraslick Teflon feet, on-the-fly dpi switch, and 15g of acceleration. Basically, you'll get pretty much everything you'd expect from a gaming mouse, in a compact and simple design that has been powered by Razer's appreciated technology.

The new Abyssus should be on the shopping list for the upcoming holidays, that is if you are planning on improving your gaming experience or making a certain gaming enthusiast, happy. According to Razer, the mouse is already available through the company's website, as well as in China, while worldwide availability is expected for late next month. Price wise, you are looking at a gaming mouse that is set to go for US $49.99 or €39.99 in Europe.
