Smartwatches may have captured most of the world's attention for a while, but the wearable gadget market swiftly returned to being embodied mostly by simpler, more focused things, like fitness trackers.

Razer has been working on a fitness tracker for a while now, called Nabu. Said fitness tracker is finally ready to start selling.

Indeed, it will only be a few days before shipments begin. The Razer Nabu will be sent out to customers on December 2, 2014. Just three days from now.

Unlike some other fitness trackers that need a smartphone to relay any info, the newcomer has its own OLED panel.

A 128 x 32 resolution screen, the display lies on the inside of the wrist and shows messages, call alerts and other notifications. If ever there was a smart fitness tracker, this was it. We may as well call it a smartband and call it a day.

The device is water resistant to a point (IP54) and has a cylindrical vibration motor, plus a battery life of five to seven days.

The price of the Razer Nabu fitness smartband is $100 / €100 and you can get one early if you manage to snag one of the 5,000 pre-orders open now. Otherwise, you have to wait for probably a week or so after launch, maybe more.
