Razer's Lycosa gaming keyboard has just got a new driver, granting users full usability under Windows 8. If you're running other Windows OS versions, stick to version 3.02 because the new 3.03 will not work with anything else than Microsoft's latest OS.

What makes Lycosa special is the stunning design and features. 1000Hz Ultrapolling/ 1ms response time, a weight of just 788g and slim keycap structure with Hyperesponse technology are just some of the things this keyboard has to offer.

Of course, it has backlight illumination with the option of shutting everything off and leaving just the WSAD keys lit as well as a very useful gaming mode which disables the windows key.

On the connectivity side, the Lycosa has microphone, headphone and USB ports which allow users to simply plug their gaming gear (including the mouse, for example) straight into the keyboard.

The rubber coating of the keys makes sure your fingers stay put but, according to users, that coating wears off shortly leaving a shiny, “dirt magnet” behind. Also, the rubber coating gets dirty really easy and, therefore, the Lycosa requires cleaning up at least once every other day.

The driver is available at the link below, so go ahead and click it so you can stay “updated one minute ago.”
