The tablet has a capable processor but with a mediocre screen

The Razer Edge Pro might just have been the first tablet to be designed with PC gamers in mind. And because the slate bundles a neat assembly of specifications, it doesn’t come cheap.

The tablet has a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, which isn’t the Razer’s strongest point.

Nevertheless hardware specifications won’t fail to deliver the performance expected from a gaming machine, as the tablet is powered by a dual-core Intel Core i7 processor with Hyper-Threading combined with NVIDIA GeForce Series graphics complete with Optimus technology.

All this is fitted with 8GB of RAM and a lofty 256GB SSD so users can store all their files and more. So far the Razer has sold for $1,449 / €1,065, but with Amazon’s discount applied, users can grab it for $1,049 / €771.

The Razer seems like a powerful worthy tablet, but for such a premium price we would have expected a better screen with a more capable resolution, especially since this is a gaming slate.
