Even though mice are usually more or less straightforward, there are certain applications that could do with more feature-packed peripherals, so Razer decided it would provide MMO gamers with two very special options, a pair of customized Naga models.

The Naga mouse is one of Razer's most intricate inventions, as it not only comes with high accuracy but also features a host of buttons and other assets.

The two newcomers differ from each other only through their surface design, one being decorated with a cracked, glowing red surface (Naga Molten) and the other with an equally glowing blue vortex (Naga Maelstrom).

Of course, the two come with the necessary backlight that will make sure the pattern and the various buttons are fully visible in any lighting conditions.

They measure 116 (L) x 69 (W) x 41.6 (H) mm and have a 17 fully programmable MMO-optimized buttons, five 'regular' ones and 12 of are set in a grid on the side, within reach of one's thumb.

The mice also boast 5,600 DPI laser sensors, a response time of 1ms and Zero-acoustic Ultraslick Teflon feet, so that they may slide easily and noiselessly.

“After the phenomenal response we received for the Razer Naga, we’ve decided to create two collectible versions to offer our fans even more ways to dominate their game,” said Robert “Razer Guy” Krakoff, president, Razer USA.

“We took the same functionality of full button remapping and macro capabilities of the original Razer Naga and rejuvenated the aesthetic design for a more immersive MMO gaming experience,” he added.

Other features of the newcomers include, among other things, Optional MMO-specific software AddOns, Unlimited character profiles with AddOns,

Finally, for compatibility with any computer, except older-generation ones, both utilize the USB connection to communicate with the host PC.

The Naga Maelstrom and Naga Molten have the same recommended price tag of $79.99/ 79.99 Euro.
