Despite a recent delay to September of this year Rayman Legends is not facing any problems with the development process, according to publisher Ubisoft.

Sarah Irvin, a representative of the publisher, tells DigitalSpy that, “There are no issues with the game development. All of the information was in the press release, the only reason for the delay is to release on multiple platforms.”

Rayman Legends has initially been announced as a launch title for the new Wii U home console from Nintendo, but Ubisoft has delayed the game for the spring of this year.

It has been billed as one of the titles that would show how the consoles can attract a wider audience and secure important exclusives from third-party publishers.

The move to a September launch has been accompanied by news that the game will also be launched on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
