Rayman 2: Revolution is an updated version of the original Rayman 2 platformer game developed by Ubisoft in 2001 for the PlayStation 2 (see 2001 in video gaming). The game stars Rayman along with his friends Ly the Fairy and Globox as he tries to collect all the Lums (parts of the world's core) and find all four masks. By doing so, he wakes up the sleeping god Pokolus who would then help him destroy Razorbeard and his robotic pirates that were enslaving the inhabitants of Rayman's world. Compared to the original, the updated game features few minor enhancements and level revisions. Of these new features, the most significant upgrade was that many of 2D objects in the original version were now replaced with 3D models. Bonus mini games Load up your game and choose your language, now go to the main menu and choose options. From the options menu, access the language option and then choose voices. On the voices menu, highlight the Raymanian option and hold the L1 and R1 buttons, while holding those two buttons, quickly enter L2, R2, L2, R2, L2, R2.
Menu cheat First, load a saved game, then pause your game, from the menu, access the sound menu. Go to the mute option and hold L1 and R1, with the two buttons held down quickly enter the following: L2, R2, L2, R2, L2, R2. If entered correctly the menu cheat will appear with items that you would normally have to purchase in the game.
Names in baby soccer While playing baby soccer, hold the L1 and R1 buttons, now quickly press L2, R2, L2, R2, L2, R2. If entered correctly, you should see the names above each one of the players.
Easter Eggs Rayman lands in The Forest of Light after falling from the Prison Ship. Here he meets Murphy and the Teensies, who take him to the Front. Also here is a cameo from the original Rayman--the first boss, Moskito, appears several times although he is somewhat less sophisticated than his original appearance.
