Ray Liotta, Trevor Morgan and Armin Mueller-Stahl Enjoy the Local Color
co-star in the coming-of-age drama "Local Color", according to Variety.
The movie written and directed by George Gallo ("Bad Boys", "Bad Boys II", "the Whole Ten Yards", "Trapped in Paradise") is an independently financed production.
"Local Color", currently shooting in Louisiana, is a semiautobiographical story based on George Gallo's life as an impressionist painter during the summer of 1974.
"Goodfellas" star Ray Liotta, who has previously signed for "Dungeon Siege" will play the father of a young man (Trevor Morgan) struggling to cultivate his artistic aspirations against the backdrop of an abusive family, while Armin Mueller-Stahl will portray an aging Russian painter who mentors the young man.
Liotta is currently filming for Guy Ritchie's "Revolver"
