Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, the newest installment in the popular PlayStation franchise, has just received a brand new video as well as new screenshots, showcasing the lighthearted cooperative adventure title.

Insomniac Games, after releasing brand new details about its more serious Resistance 3 first-person shooter, has just presented some new information about Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, the newest game in its long-running series of adventure platformers.

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One is set to deliver an intriguing cooperative gameplay, as gamers will play as either Ratchet, Clank, Captain Qwark or Dr. Nefarious, and work together in order to overcome tricky obstacle courses.

In order to make it out in one piece, players will be able to access brand new and imaginative weapons, which made the previous Ratchet & Clank titles so popular with regular gamers.

"In All 4 One, when players combine to use the same weapon, such as the storm-cloud generating Thundersmack, they can create even more devastating effects. But players can also specialize and use different weapons, such as when one player uses the Arc Lasher kinetic energy whip to stun an enemy while allies blast it with their own weapons," revealed Insomniac's Senior Community Manager James Stevenson.

"The choice is up to you and your friends in All 4 One as you explore and try to unravel the mysteries of the Creature Collector."

After most of the games in the series focused, as their name suggested, on just Ratchet & Clank, this time the dynamic duo will be joined by other characters from the series, Captain Qwark and the evil Dr. Nefarious, who need to work together and escape a fiendishly complex arena.

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One is set to appear in fall of this year, exclusively on the PlayStation 3, and you can check out the new video and screenshots below.
