Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One has just received its official release date for the whole world, alongside the cover art and pre-order bonuses that will be available from North American retailers.

Insomniac Games is working hard on bringing two big PlayStation 3 titles later this year, with Resistance 3 and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One arriving on the Sony console before the start of the winter holiday season.

Now, the studio, alongside Sony, the publisher of those titles, has revealed the official release date of Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, which is set to appear in North America on October 18, and in Europe and other regions on October 19.

These dates will vary depending on the exact territory, but Sony is adamant that fans will get it in October.

What's more, fans can also enjoy the official box art of the game, depicting the four characters that will be fully playable throughout its cooperative-heavy campaign: Ratchet, Clank, Captain Qwark, and Dr. Nefarious.

Like with any big release these days, Sony and Insomniac have partnered with a variety of North American retailers in order to offer exclusive access to certain fan-favorite weapons.

In the game, players can wield the Morph-O-Ray, and, if you pre-order it from Amazon, you can enjoy a special T-Rex Morph Weapon Mod, which will turn enemies into a baby dinosaur.

If you don't enjoy fighting extinct reptiles, then a pre-order from Walmart will get you the Sheepinator Morph weapon mod, which turns enemies into a harmless sheep.

If you don't really enjoy turning enemies into anything, then a pre-order from Best Buy allows you to use a special flamethrower that offers two settings: regular or extra crispy.

Last but not least, those who pre-order Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One from GameStop will be able to use Mr. Zurkon, the friendly little robot that hovers around your location and shoots enemies while insulting them with a variety of hilarious taunts.

Sony didn't really clarify if pre-ordering the game from one of the aforementioned retailers will get you exclusive access to the weapons, meaning other players won't get them, or just earlier access to them in the campaign.
