Recent news from India says that, on Saturday, the body of a rare one-horned rhino was discovered by wildlife rangers in the Kaziranga National Park.

Seeing how the rhino displayed several gun injuries and shells of bullets were also found fairly close to its body, the rangers reached the conclusion that the animal had been killed by poachers. More so given the fact that the rhino was lacking its horn.

Following their finding this rhino's body, local authorities asked for help from additional security personnel, and set out to look for the poachers.

However, they have thus far failed to locate them and bring them to justice, sources say.

By the looks of it, one other rhino was also killed by poachers in this part on India this past weekend. However, nobody can say for sure whether or not the killings can and should be attributed to the same people.
