As it turns out, wildlife trafficking is not a job suited for everybody. Hence 18-year-old Adam Steff's having no choice except sit down for a chat with police officers following his stealing a rare tortoise from a safari park and selling it to another teenager.

Sources say that, according to the staff at the Woburn Safari Park in Bedfordshire, England, the Aldabra Giant tortoise, named Flo, is worth about $3000 (€2,313).

Still, Adam sold it to 19-year-old Aiden Mckinstery for a mere $45 (€34.7), mostly because the latter refused to pay him any more money.

Following his buying the tortoise, Aiden Mckinstery posted pictures of it on Facebook. Thus, it wasn't long before both the staff at the safari park and local police officers came over to have a chat with him.

Needless to say, this led to Adan Steff's being tracked down and made to answer for his stealing Flo and selling it.

The teen was sentenced to 80 hours of community service, and banned from leaving his house from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. for a period of two months.
