14 DAY TRIAL // Raquel Welch, aka one of the most beautiful women in the industry, might be getting ready to walk down the aisle for the fifth time. She’s been dating television personality Nigel Lythgoe for 6 weeks, with a report saying that they’re both convinced they were meant to be.
The 73-year-old actress and Nigel have been “inseparable” these past couple of months. The Daily Mail reports that they made their red carpet debut at the Emmys 2013, but they must have been seeing each other before that.
Either way, notes the same report, the two are head over heels in love and, more importantly, ready to make their romance official, even though their track record should have, at least in theory, made them a bit more cautious when it comes to rushing into marriage.
According to the tab, Raquel is convinced that the “back story” they share is a sign that they were meant to be, aside from the fact that they’re completely smitten with each other.
“Lythgoe, who is also a judge on hit American TV series So You Think You Can Dance, previously dated Priscilla Presley – the former wife of Elvis Presley. She is now dating Raquel's fourth ex-husband, Richard Palmer,” the tab explains, citing sources close to the couple as saying that Raquel takes that as the utmost sign that she and Nigel were destined to be together.
“She sees all this as serendipity. She believes she and Nigel, who have known each other for years, were meant to be together all along and she is already talking about the possibility of him becoming husband number five,” one such tipster says.
All signs of fate aside, the two love each other, love spending time together and are thrilled by the idea of spending the rest of their life as a couple.
“Raquel finds Nigel fascinating and an absolute English gentleman. Even though she is almost ten years older than him, she stills looks great and Nigel is so smitten he seems to almost worship the ground she walks on. The chemistry between them is so strong, they are just going with it,” says another source.
A friend of the stunning actress chimes in to say, “Raquel's fully aware that age might not be on her or Nigel’s side. But I haven’t seen her as happy as she is with him for more years than I care to remember.”
