What buyers don't have a choice in the matter is what game pad they get to use after buying one.
Normally, this wouldn't be much of a problem. Getting used to a controller shouldn't take more than a couple of hours.
Still, for people who owned an Xbox but bought a PS3, or the other way around, or got a Wii all of a sudden, warming up to the new game pad could take a while.
