Things turned from bad to worse and then to very violent the other night outside a popular club in Los Angeles, when two men were beaten to a bloody pulp by security guards. What followed was a very tense standoff between several people from the club and the police officers on the scene: rappers T.I. and The Game were also there.

TMZ has videos of both the fight and the standoff, the latter of which you will also find embedded below. Footage of the fight is simply too gruesome to embed, showing the two men being pounded and kicked until they’re lying on the ground, no longer fighting back at all.

The scene was the Supperclub in LA, in what looks like a parking lot in front of the entrance. The same media outlet reports that they were acquaintances of the two rappers, which probably means they were part of their posse but had arrived later than the rest.

Sources on the scene claim that, when the men were denied entry to the club (for a still-mysterious reason), one of them punched a security guard. All hell broke loose next, with the other security guards jumping on them in a flash and beating them to a bloody pulp.

The plain-clothes policemen outside called for backup as the fight became more violent so that, in a matter of minutes, the whole scene looked as if a riot was about to break out. This is when T.I. and The Game, together with their posses, came out.

As you can see from the video below, they initially acted on the wrong assumption that it was the police who had beat up the two men. “Is this a crime scene?” T.I. can be heard yelling. “Y'all got a lot of people to beat up. We got good lawyers!”

He’s also seen trying to get The Game and another man to stand down and not make a move for the police, knowing that this would only make the situation even worse. For a few moments, tension is so thick it’s almost palpable but the standoff comes to a halt when another man yells that those responsible for the beating are the security guards.

The cops remain in position, though. This becomes clear later in the video, when they’re seen forming a line that would have helped them keep things in control if things turned violent once more.

“The 2 injured men were taken to LAPD's Hollywood division but no one wanted to file charges so they left,” TMZ says. Neither The Game nor T.I. has commented on the incident yet.
