In the world of rap, it's a common thing to diss one's 'rival' via lyrics that describe or make direct reference to the death of famous people. But, according to some, Ras Kass might have crossed the line a bit when he decided to attack The Game by comparing him to Steve Irwin, 'the Crocodile Hunter'.
The feud between the two MCs has been raging for quite some time now. The conflict, until then carried on by means of hateful tracks, really escalated this September when the two met face to face and became violent. Although, both had different versions of what happened, it is believed that The Game confronted Ras for a song he wrote and that, immediately afterwards, he got physical, shoving and punching him.
Not many days passed after the two met that they went back to trashing each other via their music again: Kass released 'Hush Little Baby', while The Game and Juice released 'Pistol Grip Pump'. In retaliation, Kass just wrote a

brand new single, which is already turning into a hit.
'Gayme Over', directed at The Game goes beyond dissing his bitter opponent, by comparing him to Steve Irwin, while he is the stingray that kills him. 'You're the waste of L.A/get blast up in L.A/face down, ass up in L.A/you the Crocodile Hunter, I am the sting gray', a part of the track says.
The Australian rap community is, however, understanding towards Ras, although fans do admit that using Steve's name at such a moment of mourning is in bad taste. 'It is in poor taste for him to make reference to the death of Steve Irwin. However, I don't think he intentionally meant to offend anyone by it. He obviously isn't aware of how a big loss it was to our country and our culture.', one fan wrote on a hip-hop site.
