Rapper Young Jeezy was just arrested in Atlanta for an incident involving his son from back in 2012. Jeezy is looking at a long list of accusations and he will have to prove in court that he did not do any of it if he wants to stay out of prison.

The court documents obtained by TMZ say the rapper is being charged with battery, false imprisonment and making terrorist threats against his son. A grand jury warrant was issued, and Jeezy turned himself in to authorities on January 3.

The incident being described in the court documents speaks of a scuffle between Jeezy and his son. The rapper threw his son into a bathroom glass door, which caused him to hurt his head.

Then, he went on to hit him in the face, dragged him into the bedroom, threw him on the bed and proceeded to pummel him.

His son tried to make a run for it, but he was blocked by his father's bodyguard. This is where is gets nasty. The documents reveal that, as the rapper was choking his son, he shouted at him “I will kill you” and “I will put a bullet in your head right now,” adding “If I could get away with it, I would kill you.”

Jeezy's attorney told TMZ that he has confidence the matter will be solved in court: “We have no doubt that this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect of his family's privacy.”

At the moment, Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, has been released, after posting a $45,000 (€33,000) bail bond.

The 36-year-old rapper is famous for songs such as “Soul Survivor” and collaborations with Akon, Rihanna, Usher and Christina Milian.
