14 DAY TRIAL // Even if there is no official charge at this point, that doesn't mean he's off the hook. Rapper The Game is facing an investigation for an incident that took place on March 19 in which he's accused of beating up his fiancée Tiffney Cambridge.
TMZ reports that Tiffney filed a report with police about a confrontation in which The Game is said to have repeatedly hit her in the face, causing severe injuries to one of her eye sockets and also breaking her nose.
The policemen who arrived on the scene from the LA County Sheriff's Department are said to have taken pictures of her face and using them as evidence to start a criminal investigation. But despite all the damning evidence, law enforcement sources are saying that there hasn't been any formal charge made against the California-based rapper.
On the other side of the scuffle, The Game admits that there was an incident between him and his fiancée on the night in question, but insists that he never laid a finger on her. He told TMZ that “I don’t want to give fuel to these false accusations, but the truth will definitely come out.”
“I am always looking out for my children’s safety and have never laid a hand on Tiffney,” the rapper added.
Apart from being engaged, The Game and Tiffney also share a reality show called Marrying The Game, in which they detail their lives prior to the big wedding day. The couple started dating after The Game canceled his previous engagement with actress/model Valeisha Butterfield back in 2006.
They also have two children together, Cali Dream, born in August 2010, and King Justice, born in April 2007. Right now, there seems to be some trouble in paradise and it looks like the only way it's going to get sorted out is in court.
The last time The Game made headline news was when he was spotted out clubbing with Khloe Kardashian, who was recently divorced, and thought nothing about dirty dancing on the rapper while the paparazzi cameras were snapping furiously.
When asked about a possible relationship with the Kardashian sister, The Game denied such a possibility, but he did hint that he had been previously involved with Khloe's more famous sister, Kim Kardashian.
Though the incident can't be related to the current situation, it more than likely caused some friction within the couple at the time.
