Rapper Gucci Mane is in serious legal trouble again. He has been indicted for aggravated assault after allegedly hitting a soldier in the head with a champagne bottle in an incident that took place last month.

According to E! Online, James Lettley wanted a photo with the rapper after spotting him in the same nightclub he was partying.

Mane did not want to pose for pictures and, somehow, he chose to make that obvious by breaking a champagne bottle against the back of Lettley’s head.

The next day, he turned himself in to the police and is now preparing to stand trial.

“The rapper (real name: Radric Davis) was indicted on one count of aggravated assault,” E! writes.

“The Spring Breakers actor was accused of assaulting a soldier March 16 with a champagne bottle at an Atlanta nightclub, and the following day, Mane turned himself into the police,” adds the same media outlet.

His victim was rushed to the hospital, where he received no less than 10 stitches. He told the press that he was attacked as he was talking to the star’s bodyguard about the possibility of having his picture taken with him.

Gucci Mane’s bail was set at $75,000 (€57,383) and, two nights later, in Philadelphia, he got himself into even more trouble, MTV News says.

“I haven't ever been so humiliated in my life and disrespected. He punched me on the left side of my face, right here in the jaw, knocking off my glasses,” the second victim tells the publication.

No word yet on whether Mane will also be facing charges from this incident.

Several media outlets tried to reach him or his publicist for comment on the situation but all they got was crickets.

Gucci Mane has done jail time at least 5 times since 2005, mostly on drug related charges.
