A few days ago, a video showing rapper Machine Guy Kelly turned into a viral on the Internet, as the singer climbed on a table inside a Microsoft Store, offering a wild performance.

It’s no surprise that the rapper was eventually accused of destroying Microsoft’s devices, including the gadgets that were placed on the table he jumped on.

MGK was initially asked to jump off the table and stop his performance, but he refused to do so and even flipped the middle finger at the local employees.

He however denies the claims of having destroyed any Microsoft goodies and explains that his only intention was to offer a show to remember.

“Last Friday, I was asked to perform at The Source's Power 30 reception and honored to do so. My only goal was to give a great performance,” he was quoted as saying by AceShowbiz.

“Contrary to what is being reported... I did not stomp on any computers, damage any store property nor were the police called on my behalf. There was some confusion as to where I should perform. But, in the end, it was all resolved. I'd like to thank The Source for the opportunity and let the people at Microsoft know I meant no disrespect.”

Microsoft on the other hand refused to comment too much on the matter, but did mention that the company didn’t sponsor the event and MGK’s performance was more appropriate for a concert.

“On Sept. 28, The Source held a private event at the Microsoft Lenox Square Store. We offer our stores as a venue for the community to use, and this event was not sponsored by Microsoft. While the artist's behavior was appropriate for a concert, some of it was not appropriate in a store environment,” the company said in a statement.
