It has a 4D touch wheel with interactive vibrating feedback

Rapoo could have just built a new standard mouse, made a few refinements and be done with it, but the company chose something more for the T120P Wireless Touch Mouse, and we're not talking about the wireless technology.

Not that the integrated Wi-Fi isn't good. On the contrary, it's probably better than on most other wireless mice we've ever seen.

After all, it uses the 5 GHz band instead of the 2.4 GHz. One might even go so far as to say that it's unnecessarily powerful for a mouse.

After all, interference isn't such a big concern for Wi-Fi mice. It's not as if you're likely to be outside a room when using it, although we suppose it is possible that some may want to switch songs from the kitchen while preparing a party feast.

5GHz will easily go through a wall or two and deliver the signal to the PC in whose USB port the small receiver is plugged.

Still, the Wi-Fi is just one of the selling points of the mouse. Another is the 4D touch wheel with interactive vibrating feedback.

In all honesty, it's not really a wheel at all. More like a mini touchpad that performs the tasks of a scroll wheel, and then some.

“Then some” being the ability to scroll to the right and left in a web page or document, among other things.

On that note, it only takes a swipe of the finger to quickly scroll down through the many pages of an e-book or work doc (excel files, web code pages, etc.).

As for the design, it is the picture perfect merger of seamless integration of left and right keys, a clear touch surface and smooth lines.

All in all, the Rapoo T120P Wireless Touch Mouse is a nice, shiny new peripheral that will be particularly enjoyable to customers who like to control their systems from their couch or another room in the house.

Finally, the nano receiver (the small item you can shove in the USB port and forget about) is stored inside a small socket on the underside of the mouse.

The Rapoo T120P Wireless Touch Mouse is shipping through various US retailers for $34.99 / €26 in five colors: yellow, white, red, green (lime-green, not forest green) or black. Some have white or black undersides, while others (the black one in particular) are uniformly painted, although there are three lighter streaks on the sides.
