RapidoWrite has the most important qualities a utility of its kind should come with: it's free and its very useful. Why is it useful? Well, the keyboard-shortcut-based app lets you insert frequently used phrases by using abbreviations/tags. RapidoWrite automatically shows you related texts as you type! The best thing about it is that you can do this in any application. Version 3.1 is now
available for
free download.
"Tired of writing the same text over and over again? Your life will completely change! You can add up to 100 frequently used phrases or text to RapidoWrite memory," AppMac software says.
As noted above, RapidoWrite is a freeware tool designed to insert frequently used phrases in any application. The free utility works in the background and is accessible immediately with a keyboard shortcut. Whatever apps you use, RapidoWrite jumps in as soon as you input the first letters. Lots of online services require typing your full name for registration. All I have to do is tell RapidoWrite that FLP stands for Filip Truta and it will immediately fill in my name in that column.
But say you want something even lengthier automatically inserted for you, such as your home address. Instead of typing your address in full, just type in the abbreviation you've told RapidoWrite to recognize for example, "h addr" and the app will automatically insert it where you need it.
It works the same with everything! Whether it's your name, or the name of an object/location, your e-mail address, an URL, an exact date etc, just introduce in RapidoWrite your list of abbreviations, and it will start "filling in the blanks" for you. RapidoWrite also allows users to quickly insert standard greetings, signatures (including formatted text) or phrases into any application.
Version 3.1 adds better performance, more reliability, while some of the nasty bugs have also been dealt with. Click
