14 DAY TRIAL // IT security firm Rapid7 has released RiskRater, a free online tool that allows security professionals to assess mobile, endpoint and user-based risk management programs.
RiskRater users must answer a series of questions. Based on their answers, scores between 1 and 10 are calculated.
The benchmark is based on data collected from Rapid7’s own research and from responses provided by over 600 organizations.
“We created RiskRater to help identify the areas of a security program that need work and to give guidance about what can be done, as well as the importance of doing each of these things,” Roy Hodgman, senior software engineer at Rapid7, noted.
“The tool aims to bring to your attention areas that need work in a prioritized order. Of all the tasks you could do to improve your organization's overall security, which should you do first?” he added.
