14 DAY TRIAL // Country singer and occasional tabloid fixture Randy Travis has been rushed to the hospital after developing heart complications. According to initial reports, he is in critical condition at a facility in Texas.
TMZ has confirmation from Travis’ rep that he is in hospital because of “complications stemming from recently acquired viral cardiomyopathy.”
As for the critical condition claim, that’s still to be confirmed.
“It's unclear what caused Travis' condition. Travis was scheduled to perform in Deadwood, South Dakota on Wednesday,” the celebrity e-zine writes.
The fact that he was scheduled to perform tomorrow and didn’t cancel could indicate that he had been feeling well and up to the task until the last moment.
