There are a lot of Chinese manufacturers releasing tablets these days, but most of them are unimpressive Android offerings with basic specs.

But Ramos takes things a little further with its latest i8 slate. Somehow the Chinese device maker has managed to strike a partnership with Intel, so the model packs an Atom Z2480 dual-core processor with a frequency of 2.0 GHz, on the inside.

Apart from that, the Ramos i8 features an 8-inch IPS HD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a 178” viewing angle.

Ramos has added a PowertVR SGX544MP GPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and two cameras (5MP on the back with 1080p video recording capabilities and 2MP frontal one.)

On top of that, there’s Wi-Fi, a gravity sensor and GPS. Ramos boasts that the tablet is capable of offering 8-10 hours of intense working time, but that remains to be seen. Those interested can go ahead and purchase the device off the Ramos official layer for just $179 / €132.
