Raley’s Supermarkets, also known as the Raley's Family of Fine Stores, has published a statement to notify customers that its computer systems were targeted in a “complex” cyberattack.

The company is still investigating the incident, but so far, there’s no evidence that customer credit and debit card information has been compromised.

On the other hand, customers are advised to keep a close eye on their bank and credit card statements to identify any unauthorized transactions.

In the meantime, Raley representatives tell customers that they can continue to use payment cards in their stores since additional security measures have been implemented to protect their data.

“Our customers' peace of mind is our top priority. We take protecting our customers' privacy seriously and sincerely regret any inconvenience that the attack on our network may have caused,” commented Mike Teel, Raley's president and CEO.

“We are working around-the-clock to gather details to determine the extent of any possible compromise of customer information.”
