The development team at Paradox Interactive working on Crusader Kings II announces that the next expansion for the game will be called Rajas of India and that it will allow players to control the big and small families that guided the politics of the subcontinent.

The map will be 50 percent bigger than it currently is, which means that around 300 new provinces, with their geography and their unique features, will be added to the game, according to a Twitter message.

In order for the experience to truly illustrate the historic experience of trying to dominate India and maybe spread power to the West, the team also plans to introduce a series of new gameplay mechanics and religious options.

Crusader Kings II is a grand strategy title focused on families and the way power can be expanded via diplomacy, espionage and trade, and has received a number of expansions already.
