Rainmeter 2.2 Release Candidate Is Out

The development for version 2.2 of Rainmeter is closely heading to an end as the first release candidate rolls out.

This RC may very well be the same with the stable build, which is planned for next week, on January 8, if no showstoppers are encountered.

This edition of the program features a change to the values returned by the process management plug-in. It will show “-1” for not running and “1” for running. This information is relevant for those that used the new plug-in in a skin, as they may have to adjust the IfxxxxValue / IfxxxxAction settings.

Some of the fixes operated in Rainmeter 2.2 RC include refer to NowPlaying.dll file, as it generated a minor SetVolume inaccuracy in Winamp.

Rainmeter 2.2 is fully backwards compatible with skins written for any version of Rainmeter. Installation of the current version can be done on top of the previous one.
