14 DAY TRIAL // iOS developer CatPig Studios Inc., a company that sells a neat music streaming app for iOS platforms, has released a minor update said to include “minor update with bug fixes and improvements.”
While the update could well pack some code corrections, I’m pretty sure the release has to do with my not-too-subtle post about its resemblance to the iTunes Radio logo. No one wants to step on Apple’s toes, and CatPig Studios surely thinks the same.
As a result of the 1.1.1 release, the Radium icon got an overhaul, changing from a dull radio into a minimalistic representation of an android with head phones and antennas sticking out. It looks awesome!
The real iTunes Radio icon isn’t even all that pretty (in my humble opinion), so switching to a more original design might prove be a good move on behalf of the people at CatPig Studios.
