Radisphere has released an iPhone application aimed at improving the speed and quality of radiology services at its hospital clients.

The Radisphere iPhone app provides real-time access to Final Reports, Addendums and Critical Findings, facilitating physician communications via push notifications. Directly from the app users can acknowledge Critical Findings, initiate Consult Requests and call Radisphere.

Physicians can configure the specific notifications that they prefer to receive. For example, they can configure the application to send non-emergency cases and addendums, or they can choose to have only emergent or stat findings sent to them.

Radisphere is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 4.0 or later. The app is not universal, meaning iPad users will see a blown-up version of the iPhone interface.
