Jason is a well-known horror movie character, and he tends to use that sword of his very indiscriminately, and not just on the other characters. Still, because it's tedious to chip apart doors and locks, he is now using Afinia 3D printers to make keys.

That's what he did in the latest Super Bowl commercial from RadioShack anyway, since RadioShack is offering Afinia 3D printers in its stores now.

It's its way of refreshing its image, which hasn't really changed much since the 1980s. Having an old horror classic and the newest tech on-screen at the same time is as good a means to do that as any.

In the commercial, the RadioShack employees list the various things that 3D printing can be used for, like jewelry, car parts, toys, building models, etc.

Jason, of course, latches on what will make it easier for him to reach his victims: house keys. He even makes a copy of the clerk's house key, for later use.
