Justin Bieber was busted the other day drag racing in Miami and, when he was pulled over, he also got booked for DUI and driving on a suspended license. He admitted to drinking, smoking weed, and taking prescription pills before getting behind the wheel, further fueling rumors of an addiction.

Now, a radio station from his home country, Canada, Hot 89.9, is trying to give him a huge dose of tough love by banning all of his music indefinitely, until he checks into rehab for what it is considered an obvious problem, TMZ reports.

“Hot 89.9 in Ottawa just radioed out to its listeners – Justin is persona non grata on its airwaves UNTIL he checks himself into a facility to get badly needed help for drug abuse,” the celebrity publication says.

The people at the station have taken it upon themselves to offer whatever help they can to the country’s biggest star, now that it’s clear that both his parents and his manager have been unsuccessful in similar attempts at making him understand he needs rehab.

Now, I know some of you will say that not having to listen to Justin’s music is itself a true blessing even if he doesn’t go to rehab but, for his millions of fans, that might spell like double the drama: not only did their idol get busted and had to spend several hours in jail, but he’s also seeing his music taking a hit (small for the time being) because of it.
