It should be a step above the DirectCU II OC series

Having covered the market for small form factor PCs when it put together the GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU Mini graphics card, ASUS is now preparing a stronger and larger board.

Called GeForce GTX 660 Ti Dragon, it has a clock speed of up to 1,150 MHz for the GPU, an 2 GB of GDDR5 VRAM with memory frequency of 6.1 GHz. The interface is of 192 bits.

The cooler is the real asset though, because it is better than the DirectCU, thanks to the existence of the backplate. As a bonus, it has some nice blue accents too.

Then, there is the improved VRM, which makes for more stable overclocking.

Sadly, ASUS did not say when the product would start selling, or for what price. Cowcotland didn't have that information, so we have to wait.
