Rack-Soft just announced the availability of the free connection module between 4PSA VoipNow, its hosted PBX server software and Parallels Plesk. By integrating Parallels Plesk with 4PSA VoipNow under a single administration interface, the new software offers a unified communication platform.

Bogdan Carstoiu, Rack-Soft's General Manager, said: "By combining the hosting industry's leading control panel with the hosted VoIP PBX software, providers are ready for unified communications and to offer value services to their customers. With this integration, service providers that use Plesk can resell VoIP services and offer affordable hosted PBX services to SMB and residential users using SaaS (Software as a service) model."

The VoipNow Plesk module is free and it is compatible with Plesk 8.4 running under Linux and UNIX systems. This module replicates existing Plesk accounts into VoipNow or links the users to existing VoipNow accounts for centralized management. When the VoIP feature is added to a Plesk account, all the faxes and voicemail of that user will be delivered right into his/her email box.

Plesk is a commercial web hosting automation solution that was first released by the U.S. company Plesk Inc. This software package became one of SWsoft's products when SWsoft bought Plesk Inc. and it is now shipped by Parallels, as SWsoft and Parallels merged at the beginning of 2008. This solution allows a server administrator to set up e-mail accounts, websites and DNS entries by using a web-based interface.
