Rachel Uchitel, also known in the media as Tiger Woods’ number one mistress, is currently on Celebrity Rehab. As part of the healing process, she’s invited cameras to the memorial of her ex fiancé.

Before she was a household name and a paparazzi target, Uchitel was engaged to Andy O’Grady. He was killed in the 9/11 attacks and Rachel thought inviting cameras to his memorial would be the right idea.

As expected, this has sent the gossip mill in a frenzy, with many saying she’s only doing it for the cameras, otherwise she wouldn’t have taken the entire Celebrity Rehab crew on the trip.

“Rachel Uchitel made an emotional visit to a memorial dedicated to her former fiancé who was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks... and for good measure, she brought along Dr. Drew and a reality TV crew,” TMZ says, not mincing any words.

“Cameras were rolling last Thursday as Uchitel – who is starring in the upcoming season of Celebrity Rehab – sat down near a plaque dedicated to Andy O’Grady in New York’s Central Park and read a letter she had written to honor his memory,” the same media outlet goes on to say.

After reading the poem, Rachel took out a note from her pocket, placed in a bottle and dropped it into the water, the celebrity gossip website / paparazzi agency further notes.

The British publication the Daily Mail has more details on the emotional visit, saying Rachel had a few, very harsh words for all those who judge her for everything she does.

Presumably, this also includes bringing a camera crew to her dead fiancé’s memorial site and the “impromptu” photo op.

“Who the [expletive] are people to be talking about me? Until they go through what I went through, living with a guy and being engaged to him and having that person dead an hour after waking up next to him... Nobody can [expletive] with me about 9/11,” Uchitel says.

Those saying that she’s doing this for the media are wrong, because she doesn’t need more publicity, she’s already famous.

“If people think I’m milking something for the benefit of getting on TV or getting more well-known, I’m already well-known,” Uchitel says.

She insists the visit was to get “closure.”
