14 DAY TRIAL // Rachel McAdams has rocked all shades and hair colors since she broke in the spotlight but, even so, her switching from blonde to red is still enough to get a lot of people talking. She debuted her new look on a family trip to Disneyland the other day.
Us Weekly has a photo of the actress’ makeover and, though a bit blurry, it’s still enough to help you tell the difference.
“Rachel McAdams stepped out for a fun-filled family day at Disneyland on Wednesday, April 3, with her parents and a few friends – and a new look!” the celebrity publication gushes.
“The stunning Vow actress hid her newly auburn hair in a ponytail under a baseball cap as she and her small group of pals wandered around the amusement park,” Us adds.
“McAdams, 34, dressed down for the occasion, wearing a yellow T-shirt, jeans, a black leather jacket and boots. Maybe the newly single actress was trying to keep things low-key for a reason?” the same media outlet asks.
Rachel isn’t the only actress to be making headlines as of late for dyeing their hair: Reese Witherspoon also ditched the blonde earlier this week, debuting a darker, sleeker ‘do also on a family outing.
Usually, when an actress does something this drastic to their hair, she does so because of a new movie she’s to start work on. No word yet on whether this applies to Rachel and / or Reese.
In February this year, word got out that Rachel had broken up with Michael Sheen, as we also reported at the time.
They first went public with their romance in October 2010 but had probably been dating for some time when they did.
In other words, her new red ‘do could be the so-called “breakup hair.” Whichever the case, she looks good.
