If the universe were to operate by abstract rules, one of these rules would be that everything changes. I know, there's enough irony in that to put us all off trying to figure out the meaning of life for, I don't know... about a hundred years? Well, yes, everything changes - some would call that the greatest tragedy in life, but as far as the celebrity world is concerned, that's a good thing. Change is good. It means variation, it means people change their minds about issues on which they seemed adamant a while back, they decide to do things that once they would have seen as outrageous and unacceptable, they take chances with themselves and their own image.

They cut their hair, put on stupid clothes, take bad career decisions - you know the drill. In very, very few cases, some famous face in Tinseltown (or, if we're really, really lucky, a sexy celebrity that has vowed to hide her body from the cameras for ever) decides that stripping down to your underwear for a magazine is a good thing. And that's when history is made.
I don't know what's up with GQ and the former cast of "The O.C."
but they sure know how to persuade ladies to strip. And boy, are they doing a good job of it. First it was Mischa Barton (before she was busted for DUI that is) and now it's Rachel Bilson, which is even more of an achievement, seeing how the O.C. hottie expressed a hearty dislike so far for showing a bit of skin, both on screen and on paper. She declared that her body is "sacred" to her and "not there for the whole world to see". Well, as I was saying, everything changes, and some good things do come out of it.
So, here is a sizzling hot new spread featuring Rachel, and for all it's worth, it was a wise decision to strip for GQ, as they made her look classy and sexy in a teasing, vintage, Dita-von-Teese-but-without-the-heavy-make-up way.
So, everyone, stop keeping your fingers crossed and start writing those thank-you notes to GQ right about now. These people sure know what they're doing! Remember Hayden Panettiere's spread late last year? That was a really good one too. And just in case you think Christmas is gone and there's no prospect of getting a decent present for another whole year, here's a little something for you: there's a little video accompanying Rachel's spread, and it's really worth seeing - which you can do
HERE. Well, what else can I add, except "enjoy". Yes, you can thank me later.
