Actress also opens up about her unhealthiest habit, wanting to be 80

Rachel Bilson covers the latest issue of Health Magazine, touching upon a variety of topics, from embracing her body in her 30s, wanting to be 80, and her life with longtime partner Hayden Christensen and plans to start a family.

Though she’s gotten plenty of media attention since she starred on the now-defunct TV series “The O.C.” and has had people fawning over her non-stop, Rachel has always maintained a very reliable air about herself; none of that changes with this interview.

The actress talks about her unhealthiest habit and admits that she regularly binges on Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, at least a few times a year. She swears that things were so bad at one point that she would eat so much of it that she would actually “poop red” the next day, but she’s working hard to get her “problem” under control.

On a more serious note, Rachel says she’s not afraid of growing old: in fact, she notes, she already has many of the habits of a respectable grandmother, so she’s actually looking forward for the day when she turns 80.

“You’re so much more comfortable and don’t give a [expletive] about the stupid things that you cared about when you were in your 20s,” Bilson says of having learned to love her body in her 30s.

“I would never want to do my 20s again. I hate that our society is so focused on that body-image stuff. Girls growing up now are aware of their bodies instead of what’s important. Live your life and be a kid and don’t think, I wish I was skinnier. I wish my [backside] wasn’t so fat,” she continues.

“I secretly wish I was 80… It would be amazing… You can do whatever you want, and no one is going to mess with you. You can go to sleep at 9 p.m. and not get reamed for it. Because I do that – I watch my shows in bed with my friends and go to bed at 9… I’m not afraid of the early bird special. I will eat dinner at 5, no problem,” Bilson also tells the publication.

Speaking of her 7-year relationship with the “Star Wars” actor, Rachel says he’s everything she could ever want in a partner because he’s loving, attentive, and very supportive. She wants children and can’t wait for the day when she has a toddler or three crawling about the house.

She doesn’t say anything about any wedding plans. In February 2009, rumors were picking up that Rachel and Hayden had gotten engaged. The same rumors resurfaced a short while ago but, so far, we have no confirmation of them.
