14 DAY TRIAL // The Linux distribution ROSA Desktop Fresh R5 KDE has been announced by the ROSA company and is now available for download and testing.
The ROSA OS doesn't have too many releases in a year, but this is the second major version in the space of just a few months. The developers have been making a lot of changes and improvements to it, and they've done a number of refinements to the KDE desktop that really sets it apart from everything else.
Usually, developers don't go through all the trouble of customizing a Linux distribution past the vanilla experience provided by the desktop environment, but that's not true for ROSA. In fact, users should be able to easily recognize this operating system with a simple glance at the desktop, and that is actually very important if you want to have a successful project.

The fact that it has the word Fresh in its name is quite appropriate. This is a very different KDE experience than what you would normally expect from a regular Linux distro and that's really refreshing. It's not all that alien and users won't have to make big changes, so it's not hard to just pick up and use.
